1. Recently, two major accidents related to personal mobility device (PMD) use have occurred. a. (Songdo) A collision with an SUV occurred after violating traffic signals while riding an electric scooter under the influence of alcohol, with a passenger on board. b. (Bucheon) A fire broke out in a multi-family house due to the explosion of an electric bicycle battery.
2. To prevent similar accidents, please take note of the safety rules and regulations for PMD use. We urge all university members to strictly follow these safety guidelines when using electric scooters or other PMDs to prevent accidents. We appreciate your cooperation in ensuring the safety management of PMDs.
