Bio

Professor Yun Kyung Kim holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Yonsei University and earned her Master's, MPhil, and Ph.D. in Economics from Columbia University. Prior to joining INU, she worked as a research fellow at the Korea Economic Research Institute, where she held the positions of Director of the Corporate Research Department and Head of the Business Analysis Team.

She has actively participated in both academic and public service activities, including roles as a Member of the Middle-Standing Enterprise Policy Committee (중견기업 정책위원회, Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Energy), a Member of the Regulation-Free Zone Evaluation Committee (규제자유특구 심의위원회, Ministry of SMEs and Startups), and an Advisor for the Association of KONEX (코넥스협회, KOrea New EXchange).

In 2021, she received the Best Paper Award from the Korea Financial Management Association. Her primary research interests are in applied economics, with a focus on corporate governance, innovation, and public policies.
